PREMIER Saten extremely superb and elegant wine, in fact "saten" means silky. Blanc de blancs from "Franciacorta" the wine-growing zone of excellence in the province of Brescia and worldwide famous for its sparkling wines.  

PREMIER Saten DOCG, produced from pure Chardonnay, is gentle, persuasive and extraordinarily penetrating. Its sparkling creaminess makes it a superb, nice and extremely elegant Franciacorta wine. At least 30 months on the yeast and 3 months rest in cellar after disgorgement and go on sales at least 40 months after the grape harvest.

Nature has gifted us the earth and the vine whereas God has given man thinking and talent.

The thought belonging to the man in love with the earth on which he was born has turned the earth and the vine in the Franciacorta beauty.

This is what men from Franciacorta have taken care of: they have made a world out of their earth, the Franciacorta world.


The family-owned vineyards, occupying approximately 6 hectares, are located in the Franciacorta district, between the Mount Alto and the Mount Orfano, whose geographical position and microclimatic exposure are perfect for the wine production to which they are devoted. Furthermore, they are managed and cared for personally in order to obtain grapes, and consequently, above-average wine with particular and distinctive features.

What differs from other sparkling wines the Franciacorta is for its overpressure (dissolved carbon dioxide within the bottle): for Saten fact, the atmosphere of carbon dioxide at the end of fermentation in the bottle is less than 5, while for the other types there is around 6 to 6.5.

The final difference in pressure is due to a different dose of sugar in the process of draw: the fermentation of 4 g / l of sugar in the bottle produces an increase in pressure of one atmosphere. From this it follows that, if we wanted to get 6 atm to end the processing cycle should be dosed 24 g/l of sugar (24/4 = 6). In Saten then the initial addition of sugar in the bottle will be lower, around 18-20 g/l. The result is a sparkling wine more elegant bubbles, fine and with a foam more soft and silky for a velvety, soft moutheel.

The production is not gig but last years this Saten conquered the world of winelovers for its quality and elegant perlage, so is the same like a limited production, each year the producer must satisfy the old buyers and can't accept new ones.
