We had selected two excellences of italian olive oil that comes from a land from south of Italy named SALENTO the best area of oil production in Italy. Alea Extravirgin Olive Oil is produced in Martano (LE), the biggest town in the area known as Greek Salento. Ancient olive groves extend between the two towns of Martano (LE) and Carpignano Salentino (LE) and contain 14.000 ancient trees (some as old as 800 years old) and 6.000 younger trees.

The oil is produced from the fruits of the Oligiarola Olive of Lecce and the Cellina olive from Nardo, always in the first week of November when they are just matured. They are then taken to the family's modern press, which still uses age-old traditions, to preserve the nutritional content along with the taste and scents of the oil at their best.

The oil is collected and bottled all within two hours to ensure the taste, flavour and smell remain at their best.

Characteristics:

It has a strong intensity of fruity green. Smell is not overly intense, but pleasant. Presence of mild sweet flavor with bitter and spicy.  

AUL'IO: Articulated in clear glass bottle of 0,5 liters consisting of 2 bottles of 0,25 liters each with extra virgin olive oil "Deciso" from olives Ogliarola Leccese with edible gold 23 kt E175 (96% gold, 4% silver, contains no copper). Alèa Cortese: Light and delicately fruity. It has almost a sweet taste yet subtle spicy and tangy undernotes.

Alèa Deciso: This oil has an intensely fruity taste that is not excessive on the palate with tantalising hints of spice.

Alèa Equilibrato: Rich of tastes of fresh, green fruits and a light and fresh scent to tantalise the taste buds. Delicate with spicy hints.
